Another day, another celeb beauty line. Right? WRONG! One of the most inventive and quality celebrity makeup brands we’ve encountered as of late is Ariana Grande‘s r.e.m. beauty. The packaging is futuristic and astronaut-inspired, so it’s super chic and fun to tote the lipsticks and glosses. But the products and formulas? Those are truly out of this world. (Sorry, not sorry!) There are lots of products to try but here are our favorites! The Midnight Shadows Liquid Eyeshadow boasts either a shimmer or matte texture and buildable, waterproof, smudge-proof, and immovable color. You can dab on your lids with a finger and buff as a base over which to layer powder or cream shadow. Or you can diffuse the hue and use it as your eye shadow. If you use it as a base, it can serve as a primer that amps your shadow up an extra notch. The product will dry quickly on the lid, so be sure and buff immediately after application. Also you only need a drop or two to achieve the desire effect so proceed with caution and you won’t waste product! I am partial to the matte version — BRB (pretty pink) and L8R (cream) are my fave primers on which to build supreme smoky eyes.
