Beauty Insider: Unspoken Beauty

This month, our columnist and celebrity makeup artist Kerry Malouf details her work on a shoot for Unspoken Lingerie, giving new meaning to the term “bedroom eyes!” The only thing sexier and sultrier then the undies in this shoot is the makeup look that Malouf oversaw. It’s simple yet smoldering.

“We wanted to create something beautiful that was also very sophisticated and incredibly chic,” Malouf said about her approach. Judging from these photos, she and the team for this shoot succeeded in their goals. The team included photographer Andre Lansel, stylist Jesse Cain, hair stylist Jonny Stunz, makeup artist Ngaire Aitken and post-production handled by Toree Arntz.

Since Unspoken is meant to convey a message worn on the body and since the collection is designed to speak for you, it allows for feelings of confidence, comfort and glamour for women of all sizes. The collection includes women’s lounge and sleepwear, created expressly for women who have a keen sense of spirit and a love for elegance and comfort. The Unspoken woman is daring and assertive, yet finds power in her soft femininity. That sounds like you, right? Unspoken is available here.

Unspoken embodies all the qualities of the ever-expanding MAC line, so that’s why Malouf resorted to MAC products for this shoot. “They were the perfect products to enhance the beauty of our model for this shoot,” she admitted about their choices. “Ngaire used Studio Moisture Cream to hydrate her skin, along with Studio Fix Foundation and Select Cover Up to even out her skin,” Malouf revealed. Other products used include Strada Powder Blush and Silver Dusk Iridescent Loose Powder.”

Eyes were enhanced with Greyprint Technakohl Liner and Bruised Pigment. The models lips lips were slicked with Vacant Lip Glass, with an assist offered by Subculture Lip Pencil. Malouf is beyond enchanted with this collection, saying that both she and Ngaire love it.
