Bite Beauty’s Power Move Soft Matte Lipstick is everything its name suggests. The formula is a power matte, in terms of saturated pigment. But it’s soft as velvet and does not dry out your lips like so many other mega and liquid mattes. It goes on like a soft balm, minus any shine. The formula is full of good, dreamy stuff, like conditioning cocoa butter. You will get a blurred, soft focus look every time you swipe. The color payoff and the creamy texture are gifts from heaven. I swiped on three coats and it lasted through laundry, a quick standing workout, and some Starbucks Strawberry Acai Refreshers. The matte lip formula has evolved over time and this is one of the most forward-thinking and comfortable-feeling ones I have ever tried. And believe me — I have tried ’em all.
