There’s a barely there touch of oud to give it grounding, (but oud haters won’t hate it) and then there’s the intoxicating and soft incense that melds beautifully with the vanilla and milky amber that will make you want to snuggle. Delina Exclusif has a far reaching sillage, and it lasts and lasts a long time. It’s addicting, seductive and totally feminine.

Gold Coast by Bond No.9 – for the love of New York
Those that love New York and fragrance especially love Bond No. 9, the brand that always celebrates our neighborhoods, old and new. Fun Fact: The Gold Coast is the name of the stretch of 5th Ave near Washington Square Park, and Gold Coast is also the name of the beautiful and bright new fragrance by Bond No. 9, created by perfumer Michel Almairac. This sparkling perfume is a perfect serendipitous find for the person who thinks they don’t like rose, as this fresh, soft rose is surrounded by the juicy notes of a fresh cut apple, lychee and watermelon. Give it a little time on your skin, and enjoy the aroma of vanilla, cedarwood, musk and rose absolute. It’s quite long lasting and has a moderate sillage. Soliel by Lalique – for the love of sunshine
For the person who loves their perfume to make every day feel like it’s filled with sunshine, there’s Soleil Lalique by Lalique . Housed in a bottle that echoes the rays of sunshine and the color of a coral tropical reef, this perfume was created by Barbara Zoebelein, Alexandra Monet and Benoist Lapouza. Top notes include citrus and almonds and then reveals pear, jasmine, musk and ends with a sweet praline dry down. The brand describes it as a gourmand fragrance, though I find it more light, bright and cheery than typical gourmands. It’s warm, tropical and feminine and really does bring in the sunshine. As an added bonus, the perfume comes with a lovely jewel with a tassel and glass bead wrapped around the top which was inspired by a vintage earring Lalique created in the 1920’s. It can be worn as a bracelet – so that should put some extra sunshine into her smile.
