Following the directions on the shampoo bottle, I did a double cleanse.The shampoo worked into a lather quickly and I didn’t need to use much product for my scalp to feel clean. The directions on Mela & Kera’s Conditioner suggest leaving the product to soak in for 2-5 minutes. I left the conditioner on for about five minutes before rinsing it off. Both the Shampoo and Conditioner have the same fruity fragrance. This sweet fragrance gives off tropical vibes that double as a light summer perfume. My hair felt hydrated and softer after use. The Conditioner also had detangling benefits, letting me brush my hair with comfort and ease.
Mela & Kera’s Exquisite Blowout Creme works for both air drying and blow drying. I use a quarter-sized amount in my hair right before a blowout. The light, creamy texture didn’t weigh down my hair. The blow-dry process went smoothly, leaving my hair hydrated and silky instead of dry. The Exquisite Blowout Creme shielded my hair from heat damage. I followed up with Smooth Ends to give my flyaways an extra dose of care.
Later in the week, I tried the Wave Foundation spray. I was excited to try this product because it promised tousled beach waves. It works with naturally wavy hair or with styled waves. I styled my waves with Vodana’s GlamWave Curling Iron for a textured finish. Wave Foundation held my mermaid-style waves, even in the heat and humidity. The five products Mela & Kera’s system hydrated my hair and protected my color even though I use hot tools regularly.
