Let’s start from the beginning: Every Beauty Brand has a story, what is Louminology’s?
I created Louminology to help women love the skin they were born with and reveal their natural beauty. I’ve always believed that beauty is the science of self-love, and a good skincare product is one that you look forward to using each and every time. As a child in an ultra-Orthodox Hasidic Jewish family, I grew up completely isolated from the secular world. Throughout my childhood, in my experience, I heard messages that women must be unseen and educational opportunities were limited, yet despite this, I always felt drawn to do something greater than what I was told I could do.
For 17 years, I worked in the skincare industry where I saw the lengths women would go to feel beautiful, only to further cause damage to their skin in the process. I finally realized I needed to be the change I wanted to see and decided to create my own skincare line that would be gentle enough for long term use while still offering results.
What makes Louminology stand out from other anti-aging brands?
Louminology products aim to help you embrace aging, not fight it. We use scientifically proven ingredients that facilitate the skin’s natural processes without seeking to overthrow them. This includes ingredients and formulas that help replenish the skin’s moisture levels, protect the skin’s natural barrier, and help reduce oxidative stress from everyday environmental factors such as UV and pollution.
All of our products are formulated with high-quality, ethically sourced ingredients derived from botanicals native to the Swiss Alps where they have had to adapt to their harsh climate and environment to thrive. It’s formulated with nourishing crushed pearls and Starpearl spheres that are each specially encapsulated with potent actives like antioxidants, peptides, and amino acids to create a blurred effect to the skin with a subtle glow. It also gives an instant lift, minimizes the appearance of pores, and makes the complexion appear firmer. With consistent use, it helps restore elasticity and bounce to the skin for a smoother and healthier-looking complexion over time.

How does your team approach research and development for product formulations?
I have personally tested and developed all of our products along with a team of Swiss chemists using ingredients that have been clinically studied and tested for safety and effectiveness.
