Boot Camp instructor Diango Cisse is offering complimentary training to inner city individuals who can’t afford a trainer or a gym membership. The project is sponsored by JUNGO Boot Camp and part of the Project Formation Community Wellness Campaign and runs for 90-days with strength training and an emphasis on movement and team accountability.
The 90-day program began March 20th with 36 individuals looking to lose weight, improve and control various health issues while gaining mental strength and learning important life lessons. Another incentive is that two of the participants will have an opportunity to win $10,000 by the end of the challenge. The winner will be judged on attendance, attitude and overall results and announced in June.
According to Diango, his goal is to open a free gym in the city for those who are obese, out of shape, need structure in their lives and cannot afford fees and memberships — it’s a health and wellness campaign for both body and mind.
People making lives better one push-up at a time.
