Dog Day Afternoon – June 22nd

Pet expert Arden Moore unleashes a double dog celebration with the 2nd annual National Dog Party Day. Created with Pet Sitters International’s Take Your Dog to Work Day, June 22nd embodies the motto: “Work like a dog by day and party like a pup at night!

Doggie festivities are taking place in three mutt-loving metro cities, San Diego, Miami, and New York, of course. The event will benefit SNAP (Spay and Neuter Action Project) of San Diego County, Paws 4 For You Rescue of Miami, and Bideawee in Manhattan. The goal: Expand and host celebrations – big and small – nationwide to benefit worthy pet adoption groups and honor the bond between pets and their human companions.

The furry party with a purpose promises three fun-filled hours of activities ranging from K9 Karaoke to Canine Musical Chairs, and a sponsored CLIX agility course, courtesy of The Company of Animals. Frisky revelers will also receive specialty doggy bags loaded with top dog products like Lickety Stik by PetSafe liquid dog treats, exclusive coupons, and a chance to win up to $5,000 in prizes.
