The Hard Rock Cafe located in the Historic Paramount Theatre in Times Square is gearing up for St. Patrick’s Day with an offer that will rock the city all the way to the Emerald Isle. The HRC talented and epicurious chefs have devised an incredible time-limited offer to celebrate the season with their Jameson & Guinness Infused Bacon Cheeseburger. If you are in the metropolis for the festivities and parade, this is our recommendation for hard rockin’ family fun and far away from the adult shenanigans in the sudsy pubs.
First, a wee bit of history: The Hard Rock Cafe in New York was established in 1984 and relocated to Times Square on August 5, 2005. It is housed in the historic Paramount Theater that opened its doors in 1926 as a 3,664 seat movie house. The theatre began hosting live concerts during the swing era with the day’s leading talent like Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller and Xavier Cugat. Famous performers at The Paramount include Frank Sinatra, Buddy Holly, Elvis and a parade of rock ‘n roll legends.
To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, the Hard Rock Cafe presents its 5th burger & beverage pairing with the Guinness and Jameson Infused Bacon Cheeseburger paired with a hearty Guinness Irish Stout or the thirst-quenching Jameson Mule. The hamburger might be completely American but these ingredients give it a tilt to the kilt. This patty features Certified Angus Beef topped with Jameson Irish Whiskey bacon jam, a GUINNESS Stout cheese sauce, tomatoes and seasoned arugula.
Savor the flavor and Indulge with a pint of Guinness or the Jameson Irish Mule: 2 oz. Jameson Irish Whiskey, 4 lime wedges squeezed and dropped then topped with Ginger beer.
If you can’t make it to Hard Rock Cafe on the day of the wearin’ of the green, don’t fret me lads and lassies. This mighty Irish cheeseburger and beverage pairing will run thru Sunday, April 10, 2016.
