New York Yankees Steakhouse for Rehearsal Parties, Graduations & Dad’s Day

With graduations, the wedding season, Father’s Day and baseball in full swing, we recently visited a venue that is perfect for any sports fan, especially if the host, hostess or guest(s) of honor are passionate about baseball and the history of the Yankees — The New York Yankees Steakhouse (NYY Steak).

While prime meats steal the home plate, NYY Steak offers a varied menu to include some of the freshest world-class seafood with everything from jumbo shrimp, oysters and clams to their impressive seafood tower brimming with Maine lobster, Alaskan king crab and frutti di mare. However, as a carnivore’s nirvana, they showcase with great fanfare their popular 27 ounce dry-aged Long Bone Ribeye with a customizable bone, which pays homage to the Yankees’ 27 World Series Championships. The presentation is very impressive. It can be personalized with a logo or statement to celebrate your individual occasion.

This steakhouse is as classic as pin stripes and apart from the USDA prime steaks and five-star seafood options, they also carry an impressive list of nearly 300 wines from around the world. When it comes to cocktails, we recommend their Yankeetini made with Absolut vodka, Blue Caracou and white cranberry juice. It’s a party starter.

The dining experience at NY Yankees Steakhouse would not be complete without indulging in one of their detectible desserts. We recommend the New York Style Cheesecake with sour cherry compote, coffee syrup and a grahm cracker crust.

The flavors are as impressive on the taste buds as a stadium wave.

NYY Steak hits a homerun not only with the diverse menus but also with its historic and museum-quality venue. The Rockefeller Center location is home to Two World Series trophies representing the 1996 and 1998 championships. A centerpiece paying homage to the “Core 4” including autographed, game used bases for Derek Jeter, Jorge Posada , Andy Pettitte and Mariano Rivera. On this occasion we had the pleasure of meeting Yankee veteran players: Charlie Hayes, Mickey Rivers and Cecil Fielder (above).

You never know who will come thru the revolving door — the fans, famished and famous people alike — just rest assured that your team will be happily sated upon leaving.

NYY Steak made our roster for celebrating this season.
