The organization Heart of Brooklyn is hosting a full day of free admission and special events at six different Brooklyn cultural/learning institutions, including:
â€¢ The Brooklyn Botanic Garden: You can take a seasonal highlights tour at 1 p.m., or check out the Native New Yorkers exhibit at any time. Normally $10/$5 for adult/student admission, it’s free. http://www.bbg.org
â€¢ The Prospect Park Zoo: you can watch Elroy the goat play ball at noon in the Barn, or see the sea lions Stella and Beebe be fed at 11:30 a.m. or 2 or 4 p.m. Normally $10/$8 for adults/children, you can check out the other animals and exhibits as well, all for free. http://www.prospectparkzoo.org

â€¢ Brooklyn Icons Mini Golf, Grand Army Plaza: From 12 – 5, you can play on a mini golf course made up of Brooklyn landmarks, including the Brooklyn Bridge and Grand Army Plaza’s Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch. The best score wins a free meal at a local restaurant.
