Walk That Catwalk +

BNNYC attended the Cat Footwear “White Heat” preview presentation for their Spring and Summer 2015 collection at their new Pop-Up location near Grand Central Station.

Here is what we discovered stepping forward.

This functional and stylish collection for men and women is not exactly “Kinky” like the Broadway Show boots, but they are rugged, comfortable and street smart — the line is infused with prints by London-based graphic designer, Camille Walala. There are 32 different styles to choose from in suede and leather with several prints by Walala.

Graphic fabrics and deep treads dominate the new footprints — our choice designs include: “Restless Walala”, “Narcissa” and the “Colorado Burnish Brights”.

This is what you need to know.

Cat has taken over the corner of 47th Street and Lexington for the entire month of October. There are special events and benefits throughout the month including this Saturday (10/11/2014) that will honor the “International Day of the Girl,” — 10% of all proceeds will go to the Ripple Project (http://www.epicthemovement.org) to provide clean drinking-water in areas of need.

Pick up a pair and help raise awareness for a necessary cause. Boots and benevolence make a perfect match.

Tip: There will be 3 limited editions from the UK, October 21 thru 28th.
