From Los Angeles with love from entrepreneur Elizabeth Faraut comes La Mask, a brilliant new way to hang on to your mask when dining, at the market, grocery shopping, chatting on the phone, sipping coffee, and more. This stylish strap can be purchased with or without a mask, and when worn with a mask, La Mask can be around your neck with the mask hanging against your chest at the ready. When you put your mask back on, unclip La Mask and use it as a necklace or bracelet. Voila! Problem solved in such a fashionable way.
Elizabeth Faraut created a new category within the eyewear industry 20 years ago with her iconic La Loop for people who wear glasses and want to keep them handy, so La Mask seems like a natural offshoot of her original concept. She says, “As Shelter-at-home became the new normal. It didn’t take me long to figure out that going grocery shopping early on Sunday morning was the way to go. And while I may have realized the best times to shop, there were snags along the way – when I would arrive at the market and realized I had forgotten my mask, creating LA MASK was a necessity.”
For the month of June and July, La Mask will be donating a percentage of their proceeds to Downtown Women’s Center (DWC), the only organization in Los Angeles focused exclusively on serving and empowering homelessness and formerly homeless women. DWC envisions a Los Angeles with every woman housed and on a path to personal stability. La Loop has a long history of supporting DWC.
La Mask items are handmade in Los Angeles. Their Vintage masks use vintage fabrics like Guatemalan Indigo, seersucker blue, and white pinstriped cotton and Italian linens. The Classic collection masks are 100% cotton blend, and all of their fabrics are pre-washed.
La Mask is being sold at retailers around the world and sold online at www.laloop.com. Check out all of the different strap styles there, choose a few you love, up and hang on to those masks.
