Annick Goutal’s New Limited Edition Collection: La Dolce Vita

What happens when two Parisian ‘It girls’ get together and collaborate? If one is Camille Goutal, head of Annick Goutal Perfumes, and the other is DJ extraordinaire and Creative Director, Cecile Togni, trust me, the creative juices will flow! Throw in a shared passion for Italy, Togni’s homeland, and you’ve got the Limited Edition La Dolce Vita Collection by Annick Goutal Perfumes.

This unique collaboration will be coveted by perfume lovers and art appreciators alike. Take three of Annick Goutal’s Italian inspired perfumes, Eau D’Hadrien, Eau Du Sud, and Ninfeo Mio and imagine an incredible journey to Italy with all the sights, sounds and smells that Italy is famous for. Envision the unique frosted glass that Italy is known for, beautifully translated into elegant frosted perfume bottles. Then house them in keepsake boxes enhanced with playful, elegant and transporting water color paintings, and it’s a collection you don’t want to be without.

Annick Goutal’s Eau d’Hadrien is the first fragrance launched by the perfume house. (1981) This signature scent has won, and still wins, the hearts of both women and men due to its juicy notes of cypress, aldehydes, grapefruit, lemon, mandarin orange and ylang-ylang. Created by Annick Goutal and Francis Camail, it continues to be the company’s best seller and has won a FiFi Hall of Fame award.

Launched in 1997, Eau du Sud is a citrusy aromatic scent created by Annick Goutal and was inspired by summer evenings in Tuscany. The overall cool water feeling is created by the opening notes of mandarin orange, basil, grapefruit and bergamot which moves into a heart of verbena, jasmine, lime and mint, and finally resting its base notes in patchouli, oakmoss and vetiver. Eau du Sud is also a great shared fragrance that both men and women will enjoy wearing.

Ninfeo Mio was created in 2010 by Camille Goutal and Isabelle Doyen, the company’s very talented in-house perfumer, and was inspired by a private garden in Rome, Italy called Ninfeo. The Ninfeo River runs through the gorgeous opulent garden; and the earthy, lush scents of bark, citrus fruit and green figs inspired its creation. The fig in this scent is very unlike the ripe fig scent often used in perfume, less sweet and milky. Other notes include galbanum, lemon, lavender and fig leaves in its heart, before settling into woody base notes. Wearing Ninfeo Mio, which means My Ninfeo, is like a peaceful stroll along the riverbank of a lush garden with the bouquet of the experience surrounding you and awakening your senses.

Artist Cecile Togni and Camille Goutal share a love of Italy, and together collaborated on these three limited edition Eau de Toilettes. Togni let the history of the brand, and notes of the fragrance inspire her to create delicate and beautiful water color paintings for the boxes, and frost the bottles, Italian style.

This limited edition La Dolce Vita collection will be gone at the end of summer, so get it now. Buy for yourself or as a gift for someone special – remember the holidays will be here before you know it.
