I was placed in the expert hands of stylist Heather Buchanan (IG = @glamrock_hair), who suggested that instead of going entirely white, I could copiously highlight my hair, with the result being a deeper, denser hue with richer contrast. I loved the result! A bonus was that the coloring process was free of toxic chemicals.
Cutting Artistry
Heather also cut my hair in subtle long layers and trimmed it lightly for a cleaner, polished look. Adept at cutting any length or texture of hair, she’s thoroughly professional and has an artist’s eye for aesthetics. Others at the salon were having incredible things done to their hair: one woman came in with long, copper-colored hair and left with it fuller, volumized and curled. Another women came into the salon with medium-length straight brown hair, which was soon transformed into a head of luscious curls.
Awesome Atmosphere
The Salon Manager, Destiny, fosters a warm, inviting vibe for new arrivals. In fact, the staff in general is incredibly friendly and sensitive to what their clients prefer. You can enjoy a cup of coffee or water, and the salon itself is light, airy, and modern. You cannot meet a nicer group of people, all clearly devoted to their craft.
