Valentine’s Day: The Holiday Differs Between The Sexes

Trust me ladies,Valentine’s Day is a stressful holiday for all men. We know what our partners want but can’t always provide it so we offer chocolates, flowers, dinner, kisses… The pressure for trips to Paris and diamonds are desirable if not understandable but often out of reach.

Try to alleviate some of the pressure on your man this February 14th.

Following are this year’s Metro Man picks to enjoy each other and the holiday.

#5: Frank Sinatra’s Favorite

Patsy’s Italian Restaurant’s Chef Sal Scognamillo is the son of a son of a son at this theater district landmark eatery. They know food and aside from the cuisine, Frank Sinatra helped put this establishment on the map. Their doors have been open since 1944.

It’s an Italian feast. The menu: Arugula Salad with shaved parmesan cheese and basil vinaigrette, Baked Clams, Chicken Fra Diavolo, and Passion cocktail made with vodka, prosecco, chambord, and creme de cacao. For dessert, they offer Warm Chocolate Cake served with strawberries, honey, whipped cream and a fresh cup of coffee. “That’s life, that’s what people say…”
