I had the recent pleasure of visiting The Children’s Place boutique at Union Square to see the latest Spring fashions for girls and boys. I frequently shop for my kids, ages two and four, at this retail chain, so while I’m excited to learn about the current trends, Sydney and Ben are thrilled to wear them.
The trends for this Spring are military inspired and celebrate colors and prints. For example, there are adorable military green jackets and fatigue print pants, skirts, tops and shoes styled for both her and him. Bold hues include touches of green, coral, dark blues paired with denim, and plaid.
According to TCP’s Publicity Specialist Lorena Pino, Spring must-have items include:
– Green jackets, ruffled tu-tu skirts, peasant shirts, gladiator sandals, and anything denim for girls.
– Shirts in linen and plaid, polos, graphic tees, khaki blazers, and anything in mint green and light coral for boys.
TCP is a fun store, appealing to kids for its’ colorful, playful and plentiful assortment of clothing and accessories.
(My toddler girl is already a fan of the pretty charm bracelets and hair pieces.) Parents are satisfied with the selections – fashion here boasts quality and affordability. As a Mom, I’m also happy to find boutiques locally and outfit my kids for the season in one visit.
TCP has numerous stores nationwide and online at http://www.chlidrensplace.com.
