If you want to treat your skin to simply the best ingredients around, without the frills of some other spas, AmorePacific is the place. It is a small spa with two treatment rooms but its focus is on creating beautiful skin with exclusive, top of the line skin care products. I have yet to try an AmorePacific product that was anything less than fabulous.
The Time Response Renewal Facial that I had at AmorePacific left my skin incomparably soft and radiant. This facial incorporates the Time Response skin care collection that is designed to stimulate the production of collagen, control melanin production and increase hydration. My esthetician, Lisa, cleansed my face and began using a light steam to open my pores. The steam remained on during cleansing, toning and an exfoliating mask. During the cleansing and toning Lisa deftly and gently massaged my face and I could feel the circulation improving. She also periodically applied warm cloths to my face, neck and décolleté. Finally, Lisa performed light extractions and applied my custom blended mask.
The mask included a cocktail of AmorePacific’s patented Asian botanicals, and the ingredients smelled edible. My skin is somewhat dry, so my custom mix included Wild Yam, ginseng water, green tea seed oil and grape seed extract.
The mask was left on with my eyes covered, while Lisa massaged my arms and hands after applying a warm cloth to them. It was just in time because as soon as she finished applying the cool mask I felt a chill. Perfect.
This facial or any other treatment at AmorePacific is perfect if you just want the service without the typical spa atmosphere. The ambience is calming and quiet without the hustle and bustle of larger spas. There is no locker room, but each treatment room has a small area in which to change. Although there isn’t a separate relaxation room, there is a comfortable waiting area where you can sip fresh green tea before and after your treatment.
My facial was more than relaxing and improved the tone and texture of my skin for many days after. What more could a girl ask for?
